BUDAPEST EARLY MUSIC FORUM Budapest

The history of this international historical music festival, the Budapest Early Music Forum, began at the end of the 1980"s, when a talented new generation of artists appeared in Hungary who superbly recreated original musical styles. The festival was born on the initiative of these very musicians and gradually grew into a concert series with an international reputation. Today world class artists and ensembles are happy to appear in the traditional late-May Forum, typically set in historic surroundings and hosted by Filharmónia Budapest.
